The lower half of her face is a cathedral of teeth.

Four enormous primary fangs dominate the front-thick, wide, flat-edged and heavy, the largest ones top and bottom center, each one the size of something that should not fit inside a human face but does because the face restructured itself around them without asking permission. 

The fangs are pale and dense, slightly off-white, with a solidity that suggests they are not fragile. They are not decorative. They have dark roots where the gumline has receded and darkened, the tissue around each tooth a deep brownish red, ancient-looking, like the mouth has been this way for longer than the rest of her has been alive.
